Comments: I love these shoes, but they wear out after 2-3 months. Good thing they're reasonably priced. Compared to gas they're a steal! They are extremely light unlike my previous New Balance. You don't need to break them in at all, they are also very airy! My old NB made me slide all over hard courts, falling during matches, but these have great traction! I think you should buy these bad boys asap! I was a die-hard New Balance customer, but they kept discontinuing my favorite shoes and replacing them with shoes I did not like as well. I really like this shoe. I play 4 times per week. Absolutely no break-in is required. This is very light and very, very comfortable. I'm a 46-year-old club player, and I play 3 to 4 times a week and was thrilled to find such a lightweight shoe that was actually cool playing in the summer in Houston, Texas. It took a while for the ankles to break in, but that wasn't the problem. I play 3 or 4 times a week and after less than 3 months these shoes were just done. No cushioning left, no tread just nada. Too bad. I usually replace my shoes after 4 months. But 3 months is just too frequent for a club player. By the 2nd week of November, they were worn completely out. She went through the toe and the shoe just seemed to give out. I spoke to Adidas and was informed that there was no warranty, and we should not have ordered this shoe. Tim (at Adidas) said hard court play is not what this shoe is for. Absolutely no break-in required. I had the choice of this shoes or the barricade IVs, but I went with Divine because they are so lightweight and I run around the court. When I'm playing, I don't know they're on - they are so lightweight. This shoe provides comfort without a lot of heavy padding. The sole is very rubbery too, not a hard plastic feel.
