Comments: The most comfortable tennis shoes I've had in a long time for all around and, especially, for ankle support. How nice that Babolat has added a Velcro strap, at long last, reducing the number of bending trips I have to make to re-tie my laces. The execution of that Velcro strap can be greatly improved, however. To begin with, as noted above, most of the too long strap is useless. Next time, just provide binding material opposite the entire length of the strap and, mainly, re-position the strap at the top of the shoe, above the laces, where it would really provide ankle support, even when the laces loosen. With slightly shorter shoelaces, Babolat could cut its expenses and we might even have a more reasonably priced sneaker. From: Bru, New York City, NY, USA, 07/08 Comments: Feels good. I get painful shin pain from compartment syndrome if my shoes don't have the right support. Nike too narrow, Adidas good but break in was too rough for me, k-swiss inconsistent. This shoe feels great. Looks clunky, but is light enough. Good ventilation. I play three times a week and I notice less foot pain. Real good shock-absorber, ventilation, very comfortable. At the beginning I had some problems with sliding on the clay (because of the outsole construction) but now they are awesome. I have one dislike- the support strap is too long and it doesn't work. I didn't order a half size larger as it suggested in the details- but it fits perfectly on my feet. It does have a somewhat narrow fit, but that's one of the things I like about Babolat shoes. I have a hard time finding shoes that don't irritate my achilles tendon and that have good inside support. I'm very picky, and these shoes were a pleasant surprise. I did order a half size larger as it suggested in the details, and it fits perfectly. I think they look better in person than they do in the picture. I was a little nervous to try a new version of the Babolat because I loved my old ones so much, but these are great!
