Bolle Competivision Parole Sunglasses Customer feedback
Comments: I live where it is very hot with bright sunny days. I was worried these would not reduce the glare from the sun, but I was pleasantly surprised. They not only make the ball "pop" (even with clay courts) but they reduce the glare from the sun. My tennis coach and my friends were all really impressed with these.
Comments:I wear them all the time and ditched my $350 prescription Oakley's (20/
30). The Oakley's were distorting my vision. The Bolle's block out that portion of the
light spectrum that "hide" the tennis ball, so now the ball is more visible and
sunlight doesn't obscure as much. Not perfect but much better.
Comments: The nose piece and ear covers are tough to replace and presciption adapters break.
Comments: I love my Bolle sunglasses! However, I am disappointed that one of the ear tips has come off and I have
been unsuccessful in replacing it. Also, they are pretty scratched up and would like to know if the lens can be replaced or would I
be better off getting another pair.
Comments: These glasses are wonderful and the ball really does "pop out." The downside is that the nose pieces
detach after time and need to be re-glued repeatedly.
Comments: What a great product! Before I got a pair, I thought the competivision lens (to make the ball standout
visually) was nothing but marketing hype. Dead Wrong! The teal lenses seem to make the ball "pop out" visually, whether against
a blue sky or the typical green of the court surface. Because you see the ball so clearly, so early, your move to the ball is a step
quicker. These glasses are a must for sunny climes, especially the intense, high-alititude summer skys of Colorado. My 4.0
teammates, wearing the usual assortment of high-end sunglasses with standard lenses, gave the Bolle Competivision a try during
practice and could not believe the difference.
Comments: These are the best and only sunglasses that I am able to play tennis in. I have had them for 2 years
.They are great they help you see the ball better.
Comments: For those that need new rubber tips. You can use a product called heat-shrink sold at electrical supply
stores. It is a sleeve that you can slip over the sunglasses and apply heat to. They will constrict tightly around the frame and
provide great cushioning.
Comments:I love my Bolle Competivision Sunglasses. They are so light and comfortable you don't even know they're
there. The only problem I've had with them (and I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same) is that the lenses don't seem to
fit as tightly in the frame as they should. I also use them to drive so I leave the gray lenses in the frame, even while playing. I
actually found the blue lenses to be distracting. Has anyone else had this problem with the lenses fitting loosely? Also, Tennis
Warehouse has the best price on the Bolle's. I don't want to tell you what I paid for mine.
Comments: I have loved my Bolle Competivision Sunglasses as they really do help you see the ball better in bright
sunlight but, I am having difficulty finding an easy way to replace the rubber tips on the ear piece and nose peice which seem to
wear out or break off fast.
Comments:Bolle glasses are an asset to players in the sun belt states. Ball really pops out when wearing tennis
vision. Highly recommend them.
Comments:I purchased a pair of Bolle Competivision Sunglasses a year ago and have been very pleased with the
Competivision lens and the gray lens. I have lost one of the rubber tips on the earpiece and must mail the entire frame to
Colorado. I believe they will replace the frame but I would just like to have the rubber tip.
Comments:These Bolle sunglasses are superb! The competivision lens (the teal one) really helps to mute all colors
except the yellow tennis ball. The ball is easier to see therefore giving you more time to plan and execute your shots. The Parole
fit my face very well with no movement from the glasses at all while I'm playing and are extremely comfortable. The second set of
lenses (dark grey) are great for use when driving. The Two-Tone Silver are actually sort ofa dark grey metallic color. They look
fantastic on and off your face. There is a knack to changing the lenses and it take some practice so be patient. These glasses are
well worth the money even if you just were them while driving.
