Comments: I bought these shoes and within the first few months rolled my ankle and am out for the season. Super comfortable but unstable in the heel area.
From: Anon, 7/12

Comments: I am so disappointed with these super cute shoes. I play singles 5+ days a week and am very fit and usually pain free. Within 3 wearings these shoes caused my knees to ache badly. I switched back to my great Prince T22's and the pain dissipated, thankfully. My sense is that the heel sits a bit lower than the toe and causes my knees to hyperextend a bit instead of encouraging weight on the toes.

Comments: I bought this Asics shoe because I had read good reviews about them and thought they were cute. I have previously worn Prince T22's. Asics are narrower than Prince but were comfortable and light right out of the box. However, I find the Prince T22 to be more cushiony. I'm 50 years old and play primarily singles, 3+ times a week, so my shoes take a beating, as do my feet. I've developed a chronic problem with my SI joint in my hip which has developed since I switched to Asics. Could be coincidental, but I'm not taking any chances and am going back to the cushiony Prince T22's.

Comments: I have bunionette in little toe from wearing Nike breathe air so decided to try Asics Gel Resolution 3 after talking to many tennis players. Well, I love it! I don't notice my feet anymore nor the pain on top of my feet as before from tightening strings after long hours playing tennis. It's about 6 months now since the switch and my bunionette going away and there is no pain in the area. I also use cushions at the affected area to relieve pressure but couple times now I don't need them. I have small feet but medium width.

Comments: I can honestly say I feel KT 2/12's pain. These shoes are cute and I like asics but Gel Resolution 3s are unwearable. I put them on briefly at home, thought they were okay so I wore them on the court. After about 15 minutes, my feet hurt. I adjusted them multiple times throughout the hour but relief was fleeting. I only wish I had taken the time to wear them at home so I could return them when I realized they hurt. I won't take a chance on asics again. Back to New Balance.
From: J.R., 3/12

Comments: Wish I could have liked them. They are super cute however that is about it. I immediately had pain in the bottoms of my feet after a hour of tennis. I tried them a second time and not only had pain in my feet but terrible cramping in my calves. I never have had any of these problems before. I tried them because I heard about how comfortable they are, however, they are without a doubt the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn! Horrible. Will go back to my prestige pro from Head!

Comments: I have always been a KSwiss girl for my tennis sneakers but wanted to try out some Asics since I love my Asics running shoes (and these were on sale). I'm glad I did because I love these! I play hard about 3 times a week so I needed some sneakers that could take a beating. They seem to do the job. They are lightweight and comfortable and my feet feel very supported. There is a bit of a break-in period. They are a tad higher on the ankle than my KSwiss so that took a little getting used to but once I got past that....they were great!
From: Kacey, 1/12

Comments: Now I can say goodbye to wide chunky looking tennis shoes. These shoes are not only great looking, but very comfortable to wear. I wear orthotics in my shoes and they work very well in my Asics. They are the perfect shoe for me! I've worn mine for several months and they are still in great condition, however I am ordering another pair just to have on hand when mine finally do wear out.
From: Patricia, 12/11

Comments: These are phenomenal shoes! I love my Asics for running and now they finally have hit the jackpot with these tennis shoes! Toe box can feel a little tight on the little toes, but they have great cushioning, arch support and lateral stability. I am hard on my shoes and these lasted a good 5 months before they wore out. Lasted as long as a pair of adidas Barricade's but feel much lighter and quicker on the court. I have told everyone how great these shoes are. I am a 4.5 and I play 3 times a week.
From: Stephanie, 10/11

Comments: At first these shoes were comfortable but soon my feet were hurting around the fore foot - that tingling feeling that many have talked about. Too bad they were rated so high in Tennis magazine - that's why I chose them!
From: Cary, 9/11

Comments: I love these shoes! I wear B width shoes. I can understand how someone with a wider foot than a B width would feel uncomfortable in these shoes because of the glove-like fit, especially in the toe area. For me, this close fit keeps my feet from sliding everywhere inside my shoe on quick stops and direction changes on hard courts. I have worn Wilson Tour and Adidas Barricade shoes in the past and I much prefer the Asics Gel Resolution 3 shoes. I hope more colors become available as the more people discover the joy of wearing them!
From: LeftyBlast, 9/11

Comments: You owe it to yourself to give these a try. They are the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever owned. When I am on the court I never even think about my feet. Everyone's feet are shaped differently, so don't let the bad reviews turn you off. I wear an 8.5 medium (with a medium arch) in just about every shoe I try on and these fit perfectly. I have never experienced any tingling when I wear them, they are comfy right out of the box. I just wish they came in other colors.
From: JJ, 9/11

Comments: I know we ladies sacrifice comfort for style/looks - but as cute as these shoes are, they felt horrible on. Unfortunately, adidas got rid of my favorite kicks (CYD Reflex), so the hunt began for some cute and comfy shoes. Within a few minutes of slipping into the Asics, my feet started to tingle and ache! I gave it a shot on the courts but was near tears by the end of the session. My arches were in pain, the tingling sensation went on for the rest of the night, and I still have a lingering issue with my right foot since trying out these shoes. If you have wider feet, with medium arches, these might not be the best shoes for you.
From: Talar, 8/11

Comments: These are the most uncomfortable tennis shoes I have ever owned. They are stiff and hurt my heel every time I wear them. I had last year's model and loved them but I will be sending these back.
From: Sharon, 8/11

Comments: These are the most comfortable tennis shoes ever! I have a wide foot and also have to put in inserts and wear an ankle brace. And they are still perfect! I love them!
From: Penny, 8/11

Comments: Ouch. I tried them on in my living room, my feet were tingling after 5 minutes. They were so tight and foot hugging but yet strangely not snug on my heel. They were very stiff. There is definitely a break in period. I will be sending them back. I cannot find a shoe! I have worn Wilson Tour Spin and Nike Mirabella shoes and both wear out way too quick at toe bend area and loosen around heel while wearing. I am going back to Prince for now.
From: Sandra, 7/11

Comments: LOVE this shoe! I was wearing the Babolat Propulse until they changed the model and toebox became too wide. I have a narrow/B width foot so many tennis sneakers are way too wide for my foot - not these. Felt great right out of the box, good cushion and no slippage or toes sliding forward then bruising. Lets hope Asics reads our kudos and they don't try to change a good thing like Babolat did!
From: Lori. 7/11

Comments: I've tried many brands due to the need for a wide front and narrow heal. New Balance wide fit the best, but it's ridiculously and continuously stiff. This shoe is a keeper. It's very cushioned and light. I needed longer laces to make final adjustment for width.
From: Kelley. 07/11

Comments: These are the best tennis shoes I have ever had. I was wearing Barricade 6s but became frustrated with how the upper portion of the shoe did not hold up-rust etc. I was also getting huge blisters on my big toe. With the Asics there was never any break-in. It feels just like a super comfy running shoe but has the stability of a tennis shoe. I have no problems with blisters since I made the switch and now my feet never ache after a long hard court match. These shoes are worth every penny.
From: Leanne. 6/11

Comments: I LOVE these shoes. I had been wearing Babolat Lady Propulse shoes but didn't like the changes they made and was looking for a new shoe. This is it! Super comfortable and very attractive. I highly recommend these shoes to players who don't like heavy/wide shoes (ie.Barricades). I have been playing with them now for over a month and my feet have never hurt. I love how light my feet feel in these super cute shoes. In fact, I am getting another pair in a different color.
From: Victoria. 6/11

Comments: Absolutely love these shoes. I've recently worn Adidas Barricades, but they always felt clunky and hard to break in. I have a medium width foot and these are perfect. I ordered my regular shoe size and they fit great with one pair of cushy socks. After they stretch a bit I'll add a second pair of socks (you should try this if you haven't already). I never play for less than 2 hours at a time and these are fabulous - never even have to think about my feet before, during or after a match!
From: Janet. 6/11

Comments: I just received my Gel Resolution 3's and they were comfortable right out of the box. They have excellent traction for hard or clay courts. I was very happy with the stability as well. I thought the fit was just a bit larger than normal, but that was remedied with a pair of Thorlo's. Great job as usual by Asics. I will definitely buy another pair.
From: KM. 5/11

Comments: I LOVE these shoes! I have had plantar fasciitis over the years, and am always in search of a better shoe for me feet. I've worn Prince T22's for the past year which I also really love, but the Asics are the most comfortable, supportive tennis shoe I've ever worn. I always wear my orthotics in my shoes, or else the green Superfeet which adds even more support. I also tried the junior version of these which aren't bad, but do not provide as much support as the women's version. These shoes are the best, even right out of the box -- with no break-in required. I have already bought more of these in the other colors, and wish they came in even more colors.
From: Anon. 5/11

Comments: Love the look and comfort of these shoes. Get lots of compliments every time I wear them. Great support for long matches. Worth the price!
From: Monica, Philadelphia, PA. 4/11

Comments: I've been wearing Barricades for years, but the sizing on the new ones just didn't work with my feet. I tried the K-Swiss Big Shots which were awful as the support didn't compare to what I was used to with the Barricades. Desperate for shoes, I tried the Asics Gel Resolution 3's and wow! From my first split step, they were comfortable, supportive and required no break-in at all! If you like a shoe with a lot of support, look no further! I loved them so much I bought another pair to alternate with!
From: Ann, Chappaqua, NY, USA. 4/11

Comments: I've worn Asics running and tennis shoes for years and always the Gel Resolution for tennis. The 2011 version were unbearably uncomfortable. I tried to break them in for a few weeks to no avail. My feet also cramped and tingled which has never happened before. I would not recommend these to anyone.
From: Susan, Ohio, 4/11

Comments: Loved the look of them and the fit but they are SO uncomfortable on the court! My feet were tingling (and I don't mean happy feet) after playing for 1 hour!
From: Denise, New York, NY, USA, 02/11

Comments: Loved the look of these shoes but they are too narrow for me. Sending them back for my reliable Prince T22's.
From: Anon, 02/11

Comments: I have wide flat feet and did a lot of reading before I bought this shoe. I run with Asics and figured for tennis I'll go with this brand too. Turns out, I love it! It doesn't cause my foot to cramp, and my toes don't run into the top, it moves well with my foot. I can slide without feeling my foot moving around in the shoe. Needless to say it fits like a glove, so the best thing about it, is that I hardly notice it's on, and at the end of the match I don't have any foot pain. The knee pain from having flat feet is also lessened, but insoles might better aid that. I didn't like the color at first, but I feel like it gives it an edginess. I really love this shoe and I'm buying the men's version for my brother!
