Customer feedback
Comments: This shoe is terrible! I would definitely not buy it. I wore holes in mine within a month and a half. This was even before my middle school tennis team started in the fall. Before tennis team, I was only playing a couple of days a week. Now I'm looking at a pair of Barricades but can't decide between the 2s, 3s, or 4s.
Comments: A great shoe for training on hard courts at a good value. After around 50 hours of play, these shoes still look so durable. Ankle support is OK. Inner sole cushioning (where the socks contact) feels thinner after 50 hours, but I guess that's normal wear and tear. Toe cushioning is average, so toe jamming can occur during quick frontal stops. Thick socks (or getting the heavily cushioned Barricades) should solve the above two issues. Tirand II is a basic tennis shoe with good support for training. Highly recommended for beginners or those looking to experience what a Barricade might feel like without the higher cost or weight.
Comments: This shoes are hard as rock. Almost no cushioning at all. The heel is too high and doesn't provide a soft landing, but increases the risk of injury. I injured the tendon just inside of my left heel. Very disappointing model from my favorite brand. I've then changed to Response III, which was another disappointment. Now using Torrent V.
Comments: They seem pretty popular here, but I've had several pairs of these shoes and although they were comfortable at first, they soon began to wear out on the side that faces inwards and on the toe. Within 3 months, I had to replace them. However, I expect that since I have a pronated foot and tend to drag my toe, these areas wore out quickly. I am 14 and play about 5 times a week, and I am a 4.5 or 5.0, so that may have caused wear as well. I kept buying these shoes simply because they were such a great price. Now I have some Nike Vapor IVs and they fit much better. But if the Tirand fits you, I would suggest it.
Comments: Great tennis shoe. They are comfortable, light, and very durable. You will get great traction on the court with these for a long time before they wear out. I have had them for 7 months now and I play maybe twice a week in them, and they still get pretty good traction and feel comfortable. The only thing negative is the material on the inner side of the shoe because it broke away from the front part within a month of using them, but once it got to a certain point it stopped, and it's not very noticeable, and it doesn't affect your play or comfort.
Comments: These shoes are awesome, I am a 5.5 baseline player and they lasted me 6 months, playing 6 days a week for 5 hours a day.
Comments: This is a very nice shoe. It offers a lot of breathability and comfort. I use this shoe during the warmer months because of the breathability. I use the New Balance 653 during the colder months and I have found that it provides firmer support, but not as much comfort. Overall this is a cool looking shoe that provides comfort, decent support, and like I said breathability. My only complaint is that the thick padding at the back sometimes makes it hard to tie your shoe tight
Comments: Great looking shoe but I think it's only for people with high arches. They force suppination and I feel like my legs are not in good alignment as a serve-and-volleyer.
Comments: Nice shoe! It takes at least a little bit to break in, but after everything else is good! Feels really lightweight, but be sure to tie the laces tight so they feel better, especially the top ones near the ankle. Adidas gives you a half of an inch of rubber literally so they'll probably last me 3 or 4 months.
Comments: Sweet shoe! It took me only a day to get used to, and then it just dominated. My game has improved because of these. There is great support and comfort
Comments: Great shoe, I am a big guy, 220lbs size 13, but more than cover the court...I have one year on my first pair and the soles have finally worn through, of course the uppers look brand new... I have tortured these things and have enjoyed the cushioning and secure fit that have kept my toe nails in tact as well as let me play for 8 straight hours some Saturdays...no complaints, only praise, and for the price, its a no brainer.
Comments: Once again I must thank to TW for affording me buying such great shoes. These ones are the best I've ever worn. Light, fit, comfortable, strong, and very good-looking. As if made for my taste and for my feet.
Comments: Really nice bag, lots of space. I personally think the orange is cooler in person than on this picture. It is sort of a burnt orange like the Texas longhorns
Comments: This is the best shoe I've ever bought for tennis. It has a pretty good price and it’s comfortable. I move way better on the court with these shoes.
Comments: I play twice a day and ranked 23 in the world for under 18's and I’m only 14 so it is the best shoe ever, cheap as well.
Comments: Horrible shoe do not by I want a refund it fell apart on the second day
Comments: This is a great shoe. It has great ankle support and is light and breathable on the court. I play 4 times a week for about two hours each time and they have held up very nicely for the past 4 months. A must buy.
Comments: Great shoe, light, good stability, also very durable. I have wide feet and shoe fits great. I'll continue buying these shoes and will recommend them to my high school tennis players. I am a school coach and a 4.5 level player so I use my shoes on a daily basis and no complaints what-so-ever.
Comments: Really nice shoes, very durable and very comfortable. I feel they are quite heavy after a couple of hours on the court though. Maybe because I was used to the Nike Vapor.
Comments: I really wanted to like these shoes (black is back!) but unfortunately for me, the lasts that Adidas uses are too narrow for my feet and I had to return the Tirand II's. I seem to have this problem with Nike's as well. As a reference, my feet are very comfy in Kswiss Ultrascendors and the normal width (D) New Balances.
Comments: This shoe is great. The sole lasts a long time and has good comfort. The inside wears down, but that takes a long time. I play 5-6 times a week and am 14 years old. That is probably why the inside wore down. I am getting ready to by a new pair for Christmas because the shoe is awesome. This shoe is the same as the Barricades and is a lot cheaper which is a +.
Comments: I'm a high school tennis coach and a 4.5 player I always bought Wilson shoes and was given a pair of Adidas Tirand as a gift. I was very skeptical at first but shoes felt great are light weight and felt good from the get-go. Durability is great and shoes stayed laced unlike the last pair of Wilson shoes I bought that I had to re-tie frequently. Great product and will continue buying and using this type of shoe from now on!
Comments: These are very good shoes. I like to use the Tirands on match day and Barricade IVs for practice. The IVs are heavy and durable for long practice sessions. On match day you throw on the Tirands and they feel like feathers, which gives you that extra spring in your step. I love the style of the shoes, very durable and a good value all around. One of the best shoes ever made.
Comments: I bought these shoes and at first didn’t like then, they don’t have the support I like. After I broke them
in they became more comfortable but still didn’t provide the necessary support. I decided to keep them because of the price but
one day when I was playing in them I went in for a volley and sprained my ankle. Good shoes for the price but not very good
support.
Comments: I bought this shoe after testing both the barricade IV and this. They feel almost the
same and so I decided to buy the Tirand’s because of the price. They break in quite fast and after that, they are
super comfortable and as good as the more expensive barricade IV. Highly recommended shoe for its comfort
and price.
Comments: I bought these shoes a month ago and I enjoy them. They have great cushioning and
my soles never hurt after a couple hours of playing. The only problem is that I developed blisters on the
outsides of my big toes. I don't have incredibly wide feet, but there isn't much cushioning on that part of the
shoe. It could be just me, but unless you have narrow feet, I'd suggest ordering a wider width. That is the only
problem that I've had with these shoes and I've always had a problem with blisters. I would still recommend
these shoes at the great price of $55.95.
Comments: These shoes have great support but a little loose on the heel. That
can be solved by tieing the laces tight though. Great shoes to run around in and nice grips
on the bottom. As good as the Barricade 4 or even better. There is nothing wrong with these
shoes at all. A great shoes to play in tournaments and matches.
Comments:Shoe broke in very quickly and molded like a glove! Cushioning in
heel great, very
snug fit with no sacrafice to overall comfort. I'd stock up on this shoe.
Comments:A great deal for $55, lighter than the B III's, very well made, quite
comfy, I have narrow foot and they fit well, very stable sole
