Comments: This shoe was way too narrow for my foot. I never had issues with other
shoes being narrow, but I could only wear these for 10-15 minutes in my
house before my feet started to lose feeling. I had to exchange them for
others.
Comments: I just had my shoes for 2 weeks and I find them very comfortable as well. I've tried the adiZero and found those way too narrow whereas these were quite comfortable. I agree with the below comments and have issues about:
back heel isn't deep enough, I find my heel slipping out sometimes (have to tie the laces tighter to keep my foot in). And the second thing is the toe guard isn't high enough. I didn't realize I was a toe dragger because my Barricade 5 was indestructible and had very little wear and tear. For this pair, only worn for a couple of weeks and the yellow portion just above the guard is already got some small tears. Otherwise, I like the shoe, but looking like it won't last too long!
Comments: I started to poke around and found Response Team for a unbeatable price at Tennis Warehouse. I was looking for a light shoes with soft heel. I developed this year a painful spot on left foot where Achilles tendon joins heel bone wearing new Nike Air Court Ballistec 3.3 with stiff plastic heel. My level is 4.5 and I used to play 2-3 matches a week. To keep playing I decided to switch first to Prince T22 (got some relief) and further to Response Team. My first week review: Response Team have very comfortable heel box - no problem with Achilles whatsoever. Heel outsole meets court naturally, shock absorption is good. No break-in required. Shoes feels light, stable and have very good traction on hard court. I ordered size I used to wear: 9.5 and fit appeared to be good with one pair of thin socks for my D foot width. During left-right or fore-aft motion I didn't feel inside the shoe any underfoot box torsion, foot and heel slippage or toe jam. There was no need to re-tighten shoe laces during the match, tongues didn't slip aside either. I'm a service toe dragger and I noticed some light wear in front of my toe, it is on a par with other brands I had. Outsole has no bulging parts and shoes do not catch on each other during close crossover footwork. Shoes upper does not crease much and chew into toe bones on a push off. I need to point out that shoes do not have vent holes in the middle, only above toes. I'm not sure how they will vent in the summer humidity and heat. Right now it is 70F and socks felt snug at the end of a four sets match. Summary: new Adidas Response Team fits like a glove, true to size, light, have good court traction - a strong buy recommendation.
Comments: So far so good! Just got the shoes a week ago. I have been wearing the Asics Gel Resolution for the past few years, but just switched because I did not care for the latest colors(sorry just a personal thing bright yellow or the white/red). I love those Asics, but these are good. I wasn't sure if I had a narrow foot or average width foot, but either way these feel great. I do notice that they are quick out of the hole, an example would be going hard out wide and then pushing back to recover I found them to be solid! My strength in my game is my speed, so finding a shoe that is quick and light is important! The unknown is how long they will last.
Comments: Right out of the box, the shoe was very comfortable, no break in period at all. Be sure to order a 1/2 size up. I purchased the electric blue color and believe me, you'll get a lot of compliments. I did start to see some wear right above the toe after a couple of hours of play, so if you are a big toe dragger, this could be a problem.
