Comments: Useless shoes for me. I have had the whole sequence of Barricades with their variant size issues and I still use the V but I wanted to try this model because of the lightweight and the clay court sole. Turned out insufferably narrow up front and low instep. Pushing a tennis ball into the front for a month has not improved things. Made for ballerinas.

Comments: Very nice shoes! I received them a week ago, and I am very pleased. At first I thought that they were a little hard; however, when I start playing with them they were very comfortable. I have played with them already in clay and in hard, I need to say that the are the perfect shoes for clay and for hard they are not bad. However, the only negative thing is that I felt they were a little heavy... I loved the design, they are very cool!!! I recommend these shoes!

Comments: I used to wear Breathe Free 3's on clay only because I could get them really cheap, but this shoe is a lot better for my feet, narrower and lower to the ground. The traction on clay is great and perhaps too good as I am used to sliding. The best tennis shoe I ever had and a must for clay players. We are fortunate (in Europe ) to be able to play in this shoe all year long.

Comments: I got these shoes the other day from adidas, and what a great shoe for clay they are. It is very breathable, with the sides of the shoe built with only mesh, and is also very comfortable. They are quite narrow, though, so that is something that you need to be careful about if you are going to buy these. Other than that, great shoe!

Comments: These shoes fit my feet like a glove with absolutely no slippage at all. I'm not afraid to stop quickly or anything. I only wish the tread held up a little bit better.

Comments: These shoes were very light. However, they caused me to lose a toenail due to sudden stopping and switching directions on hard courts and jamming in the toe part of the shoe.

Comments: This is a great shoe. I am a junior 14 and under player. I play 4-5 times a week for 2-4 hours at a time. I have had these for 2 weeks, and I love them. Get these shoes!

Comments: I love these shoes. I went to Europe for about 3 months and played on red clay the whole time. They lasted for those 3 months training every day on red clay. I really liked them, even though when I got back to hard courts and used them for about one week, they started to wear out, but that's because I have used them for so long. I really like them and am ordering again because red is my favorite color, and they're extremely comfy. Well I'm a girl, and I use these because my foot is too big for women's shoes so I have to use guy shoes. lol. Even though I'm a girl they're completely comfortable, and I use them for any surface, red clay, green clay or even hard. They're worth it.

Comments: Well, I had high hopes for these shoes because quite a few players use them, but it's been just over a month and the bottom has worn more than I thought. I should have seen it coming because they're so light. I just wish they had a durability guarantee, or I had the cash to keep them coming but since that's not happening, I'm going to give the Barricade Vs a try.

Comments: Amazing shoes. I got them thanks to all the great reviews after my Nike City Courts fell apart. I grind my feet, and after four weeks of playing three times a week for at least 2-3 hours, there's virtually no wear at all. I love these bad boys, and I can get to almost any ball thanks to the light weight and great propulsion. I actually have yet to try them on clay, I'll post again once I get a good review on clay. But these are stellar on clay. I'm gonna try some of the Barricade IVs and see how they compare. Get these shoes! Clay, hard, it doesn't matter what court, these shoes R-O-C-K!

p>Comments: I´m a tennis instructor/coach and spend most of my daily time on a tennis court, working and playing. I bought this model a few weeks ago, and I must say I´m amazed by their lightness, comfort and grip on clay. I´ll hope the durability be as good too. I think it´s obviously they are meant to be played on clay, so make a good choice about the surface you are used to play on, so you won´t be disappointed with your purchase. Product 100% recommended.

Comments: Bought the Roland Garros version. Same type of shoe as K-Swiss Defier but cushioning lasts longer, which is important to someone that has plantar fasciitis. Not as well built as the Barricade IV but has no break in period.

Comments: The shoes are average and comfortable but when durability comes into play I would definitely recommend the Nike Max Breathe Free II M's because they are durable and the same amount of comfort is present. Good luck and go for comfort and durability not just price. Sometimes the best shoes cost less.

Comments: These are great shoes...if you play once a month. While the comfort was good and the weight and ventilation were superb, the durability is a HUGE concern. Within two weeks, these shoes are already showing signs of tears on the outsole. I would recommend that you use your money on a model like the Barricades or Nike Breathe Cage instead, especially if you play a lot like me.

Comments: These are great shoes! I tried these, Nike BF Cage, Nike Revive, and Wilson Crossfire, and these and the BF Cage were the best two. These were lighter and had a little more traction than the BF Cage, but had less comfort. In the end, I chose these though, because they are extremely lightweight and cost a little less. I would recommend these to anyone that likes good shoes!

Comments: These are great shoes. Very light which is important to me. Good air flow. They are coming loose at the toe just a little, however this is probably because I am very hard on them! I am ordering my second pair.

Comments: These shoes are just as good as the previous model. Very light and comfortable. They are great for all types of courts.

Comments: I would disagree with the two previous comments. These shoes are great on hard court, and great on clay too. I am a solid 4.0 aggressive player and never had a problem slipping on hard. They are more comfortable (upper is softer) than CC II, which I used until now. Weight difference is not noticeable in play. They are probably even more breathable than CC II - at least they dry faster after a match. After about 10 matches I am delighted with these shoes.

Comments: These shoes are great. I am an avid tennis player, but I play on clay courts and grass courts. These shoes are great for clay and grass, but not great for hard courts. Adidas needs to stick to their regular feather designs, not the new designs, like this one.
From:
Steve, Flagstaff, AZ, USA. 4/07
Comments: For Switzerland and Europeans this is one of the most important shoes as it has the best clay court sole and even much more important during winter for indoor players on the so-called bross-slide surface. I hope that Adidas will always have this special shoes in its range as all the other models are literally the same boring sole, maybe good for hard-courts, but we hardly have any hard-courts as we worry about our backs.
From:
Karim, Zurich, Switzerland. 4/07
Comments: Unless you are a devout clay court player these shoes aren't for you. They are slippery on hard courts and are too much like the Barricades in structure and comfort level. Adidas should stick to what made the Feather series great and not try to integrate the two shoes.
From:

Comments: These are quite a bit heavier and less comfortable than the previous model due to its plasticly body material. Also this tread is much more suited to clay courts vs. its predecessor which provided ample traction on both clay and hard courts. This new model's traction seems almost slippery on hard courts. I'm going back to the tried and true last year's Feather.
