Comments: A great racquet. All racquets have been made for any type of
players, the shape is not to narrow or too wide and feels very
comfortable. I was able to control my serve really well and really put
alot of topspin. Adidas is back!
Comments: Ok I have been playing with this racquet for probably 7 months now and I love it. It has great control on serves and groundstrokes and volleys are way easier now. I have played with many racquets and this is my favorite.
Comments: Serving power AND precision improved in 1 hour with this light but sturdy stick ! Very comfortable and deep groundstrokes too.
What took them so long to bring back Ivan LENDL's weapon ??
Comments: The first time I played with it, I hated it & it hated me. After playing with it alot, it grew on me. After long sessions I came to appreciate it.
Comments: SUPERB! That is the one word that best describes this racquet. It performed on all areas of the court beautifully. Even off-center shots felt very good. I was able to pick it up, and start playing with it right away. It didn't take any time to get use to. It just does everything really well. There wasn't one shot I wasn't able to hit with it. Just get one. You won't regret it!
Comments: This racquet is by no means as light as it says it is. It plays as though it is about 12.5 or 13 oz and it is extremely head heavy. Other than that, it was a pretty solid stick.
Comments: This racquet has been the most solid racquet I have hit with. It is just a solid
frame, and the feel is unreal. My previous racquet was the Fischer Progressor, and I was hitting really well with it. I then saw adidas came out with racquets, so I was just going to try it and didn't plan on switching. Once I hit with this racquet, with my strings in it, I fell in love. My groundstrokes feel so smooth, I get more spin with it, and the power is the perfect amount. I'm going to be using this stick for a long time.
Comments: I agree with Dave about the Barricade and the review. It plays much better to me than some of the sticks that got rave reviews from the testers. This racket plays very solid on all shots and is easy to handle as well. Just a well balanced racket that is good on all shots with no weakness. I was surprised with the low ratings in the review. But give Adidas credit with this one, it will be in my bag for awhile.
Comments: I'm surprised this stick didn't score higher in the TW playtest. My regular stick is the Pure Drive Roddick but I think I will be making the change. Swings easier than I would have expected given the swingweight and almost even balance. Hit all three Barricades and I like the standard one the best. Good feel, easy on the arm. Easy to control spin and depth. Glad to see that Adidas went with a middle of the road grip ship similar to a Wilson or Babolat.
Comments: Played for the first time with this stick and it surprised me. I bought the Barricade without testing it and was a little worried that it has been a while since Adidas put out rackets, but it played pretty much like the specs said. Very solid on all shots good topspin and slice. Easy to swing and a pleasure to serve with. The 95 head and the open string pattern made for a very generous sweet spot. All in all a very playable racket that performs at the net as well as the baseline. Good job to Adidas!
Comments: A very, very nice frame. Great balance, lots of pop and spin, really good touch, and serves come off with more pace and bite than with my old Kneissl Toms Machine. It has a unique feel, one it'll take me a bit to get accustomed to, but I think I'm going to love this racquet. It gives me just what I've been looking for - a bit more power and spin without sacrificing control and flex. Adidas has once again proven why they're the top brand in tennis.
Comments: I'm torn between this and the Barricade Tour. While the Tour model had very good plow through and fair amount of power, this model although slightly lacking on both was easier on the arm and had better spin potential. Both had excellent control. For those familiar with the MG Prestige line, the Tour would be similar to the Prestige Mid while this model would be similar to the Prestige Pro. Bottom line, a very good racket!
Comments: Really, really nice. Great balance, lots and lots of spin, great touch and a solid mix of control and power. This is a big switch for me, as I've been playing 18x20 string patterns for years and years, but it feels wonderful to be able to generate spin without so much effort. Excellent pop on serves, too. A great re-entry into the racquet world by the number one name in tennis.
