Comments: I really love this shoe, they are really comfortable and there are a lot of variety for different tastes. They last long and since I train a lot, about 5 hours per day, they are very good and last me about 3 months. Everybody should buy this shoe, plus Tennis Warehouse ships them fast so you get them the next day! Love it!

Comments: I've worn the Barricades for several years. I do like the looks of the Vs, however, they have lasted me only 4 weeks. The sole has completely worn through. I play daily. The IVs felt more comfortable and outlasted the Vs. The Vs are not worth the price. For comfort, I have to elevate the inside sole with a build-up of whatever I can find, to heighten my foot; the shoe rubs my ankle bone terribly. I loved the IVs...they lasted and felt great. Keep the look of the Vs but go back to the comfort of the IVs.

Comments: Do not buy these shoes, they are not comfortable, they are too wide, they are too heavy and they are so stiff they feel like you are wearing boots. I recommend KSwiss, these shoes are made right for human feet.

Comments: A great looking shoe, unfortunately they do not fit as well as my old Barricade IIs. They fit much wider in toe bed. As others have mentioned, they also sit lower on the ankle where the shoe is quite stiff. If I did not add protective bandage, the shoes rubbed my skin raw.

Comments: I owned the Barricade IV and loved the support. I bought these because I liked the way they looked and thought they would have the same great support. These shoes do not provide the same type of support. I have jammed my toes, I have callous when I never have and my feet get sore after hard play. They need to go back to their previous design.

Comments: This shoe is good and very durable they don't have much cushion but I liked them.

Comments: I've worn the Barricades for several years now and have always loved them because of the exceptional durability and stability. The new V version kills the outside of my left heel, which has never happened before with the other versions. Hopefully with some modifications to the insole by a podiatrist friend, they will still be playable. Otherwise, $110 wasted. I'll be switching back to the old version.

Comments: I have worn the Barricade II, III (my favorite) IV and now the V. I don't like the V much. It's a bit wider in the toe box, but the sole, as another reviewer said, is "clunky." They are also very stiff. I have worn them for half a dozen matches and also all day a few times, and they are still not very comfortable. The worst part was the sole. It gripped the court almost too well and not at the right moment, nearly causing a bad turned ankle. I had been playing in them for about about 10 minutes when that happened. I'm very disappointed. Cost isn't a deciding factor in my shoe purchases (and I love shoes), but I have had better performing and comfortable tennis shoes for 1/2 the price as these.

Comments: This is my first time to try the Barricade after hearing such wonderful things about the shoe. I got the new Barricade V, and, for me, it was a waste of money. I got a huge blister on the arch of my left foot and lost a toenail on my right foot. I have never had this problem with any other shoe I've worn. I'm giving these shoes away to someone who loves Barricade and will try a different shoe. Just didn't work for me, I suppose.

Comments: Ouch! First time trying the Barricade after hearing from so many about what a great shoe they are. I have bad blisters on my arch and toes. Extremely disappointed. I've only worn them four times so they weren't worth the money to me

Comments: The toe box is very wide, and the sole of the shoe is "clunky," making lateral movement difficult, if not dangerous. I bought these by mistake, thinking I was replacing my old Barricades. Be careful!

Comments: This is a beautiful looking shoe, but be forewarned that the Barricade V doesn't fit the same as the Barricade IV. It seems lower on the foot, so I got sores on my ankle bones as I broke them in. I'm a 5.5 rated player.
