This third generation shoe continues the Air Max Breathe trend of meeting the performance requirements of elite athletes. A combination of comfort, fit, support and durability makes this a go to choice for elite level tournament players. Updates from the Breathe II include a more user-friendly tongue design, allowing for a larger opening for foot entry while still providing excellent comfort, fit and support. Nike continues the development of its Drag-On upper technology with a sleek new design featuring larger ventilation openings. Fans of previous Breathe Free versions will find a familiar fit and feel in this third version.

Fit: Length fit is true to size, although the low profile toe box gives the shoe a slightly snug feel until broken-in. Width fit is on the narrow side of medium width. Fit through the toe box is low. Arch support fits slightly lower than medium height. Offers a comfortable ride with little break-in required.
Upper: Nike's innovative construction provides improved ventilation, stability and durability. Direct inject Drag-On combined with a highly breathable mesh provides the player with maximum temperature control, exceptional durability in the toe area, lateral stability and great forefoot flexibility.
Midsole: Forefoot and heel Phylon midsole with TPU Shank interlock. Zoom Air unit in the forefoot and maximum volume Air-Sole unit in the heel provides the player with the ultimate cushioning. Innovative TPU shank that gives maximum forefoot stability. Molded, Ortholite sockliner provides superior in-shoe comfort.
Outsole: Full-length DRC rubber compound in a new herringbone design with pivot point. Provides non-marking traction on all court surfaces and improved durability. The DRC wraps up over the toe area for improved toe durability.
