A very comfortable racquet, the RQS 22 offers a generous sweetspot and a very plush feel from the stringbed. Our TW playtesters noticed some classic Yonex flex through the shaft and throat, providing a sense of increased dwell time of the ball on the strings and resulting in some noticeably increased spin and control. The RQS 22 feels maneuverable from all areas of the court. We also found some surprising stability from this light racquet, which further enhanced the comfortable feel during hitting. The open string pattern provides plenty of grip on the ball and offers a lively response allowing easy generation of pace and depth on groundstrokes. We found some nice pace and spin on serves, too, with some pleasing comfort at contact. Offering lots of potential for both baseline and all court players, the RQS 22 makes a great choice for both singles and doubles players at the 3.5-4.5 level.
