The Wilson 6.2 heritage lives on in this evolutions of the popular skunk oversize (nicknamed such due to the black and white color scheme). Unlike previous Hammer 6.2s, this nCoded versions does not feature Hammer (head heavy) weighting, and with a headlight offers a more maneuverable feel. A larger headsize offers a more generous sweetspot and increased comfort.
Offering a solid blend of power, control and a maneuverable feel, this racquet makes a great choice for the player seeking the mobility of a game improvement racquet combined with the control of a 'tweener. The sweetspot is very generous and we fond the nSix-Two Oversize to be very forgiving from all areas of the court. At net the maneuverable feel and large sweetspot make hitting clean, deep volleys a snap. From the baseline, there ample power for players with moderate swing speeds. Faster swing speeds result in good access to spin, and we found the open 16/20 string pattern to offer plenty of grip. A very versatile stick, the nSix-Two Oversize will appeal to a variety of players at the 3.0+ level. Like the Midplus, the playing feel and response is easily customizable by varying string type, tension and by adding weight.
