From the very first shot, the DNX 4 pleases with its plush, comfortable feel and large, generous sweetspot. The third generation "4" from Volkl, the DNX 4 trumps its predecessors from all areas of the court. Fans of the Catapult 4 Gen I and II will find a similar blend of power and control here, but with Volkl's DNX technology at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions of the hoop, we found improved stability. At net the DNX 4 offers a maneuverable feel and enough pop to help finish off the point. Our TW playtesters found plenty of bite from the stringbed, allowing for lots of control on angle and drop volleys. But most impressive is the responsive feel from serving, to groundstrokes to volleys. All in all a solid update to the "4" line and well worth a demo for 3.5-5.0 level players.
