The most powerful racquet in the Speedport line-up, the Speedport Platinum offers a large and forgiving stringbed. With a 125sq. inch headsize, the Speedport Platinum offers plenty of real estate to help you get the job done. Out on court this racquet offers a very soft and lively feel. Comfort is excellent even when hitting with pace and catching the ball outside of the sweetspot. The stringbed offers lots of bite, making this one a great choice for players who like to slice, dice and attack with spin. At net the racquet feels maneuverable and offers plenty of power to get the ball away. Stability is impressive from all areas of the court and the racquet resists twisting exceptionally well - especially considering its light weight. From all areas of the court we were impressed by the forgiving nature of this racquet. The teardrop shaped head allows for plenty of ball pocketing at impact. The ball sinks further into the stringbed thanks to two, key Prince technologies. With Prince's Speedports positioned around the entire racquet head, ordinary string holes are transformed into giant Speedports. The Speedports allow more string deflection as well as provide an aerodynamic benefit during swinging. The main strings are also lengthened and travel trough the throat to allow for even more ball pocketing at impact. The longer main strings also increase power on every shot. All in all this impressive racquet makes a great choice for beginners as well as players looking for high levels of power, comfort and spin.

Note: Racquets can be strung with or without the elongated mains. Tennis Warehouse will string them with the longer mains unless told otherwise. If you would like to have it strung differently, please give customer service a call.
