The healthy
swingweight of the Shark Midplus produces a solid and
comfortable feel in play. With good stability and an easily controllable power level, the
Shark Midplus is a surprisingly suitable alternative for those who usually hit with a player's
racquet.
The open string pattern offers easy access to both topspin and slice and the Sweet Spot
Expansion grommet system does a good job of making the Shark a very
comfortable racquet. The wide beam width in the throat of the racquet provides a large
sweetspot, which resides low in the hoop, extending to the middle of the stringbed. At net the
racquet feels maneuverable and well balanced for solid volleying. There's plenty of pop to be
had on serve and we found this a great racquet for hitting kick serves. Best suited to 3.5-5.0
level players.
