The level of control is also very high thanks to the tight string pattern and soft flex of the racquet, both of which provide a high level of feedback. The frame and stringbed design attributes come together to show that you can have power and control in one racquet. From the baseline the Black Star feels very maneuverable. The easy access to fast swing speeds makes it easy to generate lots of pace and spin. The sweetspot of the Black Star is generous and the response very comfortable. The racquet's maneuverable feel translates well to net play. With a very fast feel at net, this racquet will find equal favor with serve and volley players as well as those who like to attack from the back court. On serve our TW playtesters found good access to spin and pace allowing them to attack the service box with good variety.
