With the MicroGEL Prestige Mid, HEAD have looked to the Prestige Classic 600 for inspiration. The weight, balance and overall spec of this version was based on the Classic 600, however, the feel from this latest Prestige is unique. Offering a solid and control oriented response, the MicroGEL Prestige Mid feels more dampened and muted compared to the Classic 600. Advanced players will find power and penetration on their shots by utilizing the racquet's mass with long, fast swings. The Midsized head seems to cut through the air, and the racquet offers exceptional plow through on powerful groundstrokes and serves. The head-light balance further lends itself to the production of racquet head speed, making this a top choice for big hitters. At net the racquet offers a very solid response that's loaded with control, making this a solid choice for the player who likes to attack from all court positions. Lots of control means players still feel connected to their shots when they take their foot off the gas and mix things up with touch and feel shots. Best suited to players with developed strokes who are seeking an emphasis on control.
The evolution of the Prestige continues with HEAD's latest MicroGEL technology. At the point of contact, MicroGEL reacts with the racquet's composite fibers to uniformly distribute the impact load around the racquet frame for a comfortable and solid hit. As with previous iterations, the MicroGEL Prestige is available in a Mid and a Midplus headsize.
