HEAD brings its all new Flexpoint technology to its 6 line-up with the introduction of the Flexpoint 6. HEAD's Flexpoint technology is designed to make the frame flex at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions rather than just from the shaft up (as with a conventional racquet). HEAD claims Flexpoint technology allows the racquet to cup the ball for increased control and feel. HEAD states that the Flexpoint technology allows for a longer dwell time (the duration of time the ball is in contact with racquet) and ball pocketing, providing the player with increased feel and giving the racquet a larger sweetspot.

Midplus
We found the Flexpoint 6 Midplus to be a versatile racquet that even appealed to our stronger 5.5 level players, even though its intended target is the 3.0 to 4.5 level player. The broad beam design compliments the Flexpoint technology well and we found some useful pop without any loss of feel. From the baseline players with moderate swings will find plenty of depth and pace. The open string pattern offers good access to spin as swing speeds increase. Players at the 3.0-4.5 level (singles or doubles) with medium/moderate swings, who are looking for a mobile racquet and an extremely comfortable feel should definitely take this one out for a demo.
