Offering a blend of power and control, the Airflow 5 is ideally suited to the intermediate player (3.5-4.5 level). More advanced players looking to add some zip to their shots and find more maneuverability from their racquet should also take this one for a demo. The light feel of this racquet when picked up, transfers nicely to the court where it feels easy to swing through the contact zone. The Airflow 5 offers some nice pop from a medium length swing and spin comes easily as swing speeds quicken. We found this a great racquet for hitting angles and taking aggressive cuts at short balls thanks to the maneuverable feel, spin friendly stringbed and clean feel from the racquet. On serve players should find great consistency thanks to the generous sweetspot. There's excellent access to pace and spin as players should find easy access to racquet head speed when serving with this one. All in all, the Airflow 5 offers impressive all court playability that will find favor with both singles and doubles players.
