The HEAD FXP Instinct Team features a larger headsize and a thicker, more powerful beam design compared to the Flexpoint Instinct. A more open string pattern also gives this Team version a livelier feel. We found plenty of pop and a solid feel at impact, making this racquet an attractive choice for intermediate players. When hitting groundstrokes the FXP Instinct feels very maneuverable, allowing the player to whip the racquet through contact for plenty of topspin and slice. The feel from the stringbed is lively and we found pace and depth easy to generate. At net the racquet's maneuverability is especially noticeable. This one is a great choice for intermediate doubles players and for aggressive players who like to take the ball early. On serve, there's plenty of pace and spin to be found, thanks to the lively feel and easy mobility. The FXP Instinct is a great choice for players with medium paced swings, looking to add a little power and spin to their shots. Best suited to 3.0-4.5 level players.
