A somewhat light player’s/mid-weight ’tweener racquet that offers a nice combination of power and control. The Maxply is an appealing choice for both intermediate and advanced players. There's enough stability, thanks to the 327 swingweight (RDC), yet it remains maneuverable at only 11.3 ounces strung. We enjoyed the positive feedback on all shots and found the Maxply to offer plenty of feel for mid-court approach shots and volleys. At net, the racquet felt maneuverable with plenty of control for touch and placement volleys. We found plenty of spin, with the 16/19 string pattern gripping the ball well on both topspin and slice groundstrokes and serves. With just enough power to help get the ball away, and enough control for precision hitting, this racquet is a solid choice for a variety of playing styles and levels. Well worth a demo for 4.0+ level players.

Note: Grip size 3/8 is brand new demo stock available only with yellow grommet and no cover.
