The latest in the Aerogel family, the Titan offers Aerogel and M-FIL technologies in a racquet for the beginning to intermediate player. Though the Titan is under 10 ounces (strung), it is surprisingly stable. There is plenty of feel as well as maneuverability. It's 16/19 string pattern provides nice access to spin which we found when hitting from the baseline and serving. The weight and balance of the racquet make it easy to create good racquet head speed, allowing for plenty of pace and spin on shots. At net the 101 square inch mid-plus head size provides forgiveness with it's hefty sweet spot. Plenty of pop offered to hit crisp deep volleys. We found the Titan to offer a nice level of comfort from all areas of the court. Easy to hit with in stock form, as well as having room for customization for the player looking to add some heft. Best suited to 3.0 to 4.5 players.
