New to the Dunlop racquet series is this Aerogel 550 Lite 4D. Weighing less than 10 ounces strung, this one is easy to maneuver and create fast swing speeds. Aggressive players are rewarded with easy access to spin and some pop. Our TW playtesters found this to be a responsive, maneuverable racquet from all areas of the court. At 27.25", the 550 Lite is slightly longer than a traditional racquet, offering more power but without sacrificing maneuverability. We found a crisp response from the stringbed with spin and power easily generated off quick swings. With its ease of maneuverability and excellent control at net, this one is a good option for all-court and doubles players. On serve, spin was easily served up. With the light weight, this 550 Lite leaves plenty of room for customization for the bigger hitting players. All in all this 550 Lite is an impressive racquet best suited to intermediate level players with an all-court game or juniors transitioning into adult sized frames.
