The Babolat VS NCT Control is a medium powered racquet that is characterized by its tear-drop head shape and maneuverable control. The VS NCT Control will find favor among 3.0 to 4.5 intermediate level players who like mobility but still require a stable feel. Although designed primarily for players with medium-length swings, we found enough control for faster swinging spin players too. The racquet's maneuverability was a plus when it came to quick exchanges at net or when hitting groundstokes on the run.
TECH INFO
NCT (Nano Carbon Technology) racquets are constructed with two "stabilizers,"
rigidified by Carbon Nanotubes, that are located at each side of the racquet center giving it a
unique shape and texture. According to Babolat, the result should be 20% more rigidity than
a standard rectangular structure (see Technologies icon in right hand column).
