This racquet features Babolat's Carbon Extreme construction, comprised of a specially braided graphite utilized around the racquet head for increased stability. At net the Pure Storm offers enough pop to help get volleys away, but as with the majority of player's racquets, control is emphasized over power. The racquet feels very fast at net and when mobility is of high importance such as serve returns and approach shots. Our TW Playtesters found enough control to allow for aggressive swings on approach shots without fear of over-hitting. Players who thought control and feel only came with hefty player's racquets will be pleasantly surprised by the response of this one. Best suited to 4.0+ level players.
