The Pure Drive Oversize gets updated with Babolat's Cortex comfort technology. Offering the same, excellent access to spin, pace and maneuverability, this version also offers a more solid feel at impact compared to the original. Babolat's Cortex system does a good job of filtering racquet shock and vibrations while still leaving enough racquet feedback to allow the player to feel the ball. This version also places a bit more weight behind the ball, making for more stable hitting. From the baseline, players will enjoy plenty of power and spin. Both topspin and slice are easily generated and the large sweetspot helps maintain depth. At net the racquet feels very maneuverable, offers plenty of pop to get the job done and feels very solid at impact. Here, Babolat have improved on an already impressive racquet, boosting comfort and stability, yet keeping all the performance benefits of the original. Best suited to 3.5-4.5 players.
