Still designed to meet the needs of the elite tennis player, Wilson has updated the Open with a new look in a light weight, well supported upper. The Open II comes in a half ounce lighter than the previous model while maintaining support and stability. Breathability is prevalent with 360Ą of ventilation. The direct-injected TPU Quarter Stable Wrap keep feet stable when moving laterally, important for the advanced player having to make quick changes of direction.

Fit: Length fit is slightly long with a secure fit to the heel - toe box is more roomy. Arch support is medium. These shoes offer a comfortable ride, excellent ventilation and require no break-in.
Upper: Built on a contoured last. Soft, synthetic perforated uppers are lightweight and breathable. The direct-injected TPU Quarter Stable Wrap on medial and lateral sides of the shoe offer lateral stability. Dual-layer toe protection with duratex for improved durability. The external TPU heel counter keeps the feet locked in.
Inlay: Perforated molded EVA sockliner.
Midsole: DST Foam full length midsole. Ventilated TPU Arch Bridge.
Outsole: Modified herringbone patterned outsole for the forefoot and heel strike areas.
