Most impressively, Nike has incorporated improvements into the Air Zoom Vapor V upper without sacrificing the speed like feel and comfortable ride that wowed our TW playtesters in the previous version. Nike's Zoom Air keeps feet low to the court for a stable ride, yet offers plenty of cushioning for player comfort. Built on a contour, speed fit last, the Air Zoom Vapor V wraps the foot for glove-like support. Regionalized upper materials increase lateral support and improve durability in key areas. Nike's XDR outsole material in a modified herringbone combination offers traction on all court surfaces with solid hard court durability. At the rear of the shoe, the Fit Frame technology is updated, offering the same support in a lighter weight design. All in all an impressive shoe and a perfect match for the player who's serious about his footwork.

Fit: Length fit is true to size. A slightly narrow fit combines with impressive upper forgiveness for a light weight feel. Arch support fits at a medium height. Almost no break-in required.
Upper: Nike's contour speed fit offers a glove-like, performance feel. Durability and support are increased with regionalized material placement. Suppleness through the vamp adds to the comfortable ride.
Midsole: A full-length Zoom Air Unit in the full-length Phylon midsole provides low to the ground court feel while maintaining comfort and cushioning. Nike's Momentum Control System keeps the shoe stable. Heat Block technology helps the shoe stay cool by stopping the hot court temperatures from penetrating the shoe.
Outsole: A full-length XDR outsole in a herringbone pattern provides traction and durability on all court surfaces.
