Comments: Soft polyester, lots of power, but the strings do not last long. They went dead after a few hours. I recommend Pro Supex Big Ace instead.

Comments: Very nice string, surprisingly very well suited for me. I strung it at 57.5-55 lbs on my Yonex Ezone Xi100 and I got tons of spin and good control right away. Cyclone, in comparison, required a couple hours of break-in and had less feel during contact. But I doubt Big Hitter Blue is a durable string -- after 10-12 hours of hard hitting, my sweet spot mains are shredding. It is still playable, but with noticeably less control. Given the price for a reel and the fact that I don't mind restringing once in every week or two, it is my favorite from now on.

Comments: Overall, this is a really good string. I play at varsity tennis at the high school level. I had this string strung at 54 lbs on my Head Prestige S. It has really good spin, smooth hitting, and some power shots at times. I noticed right away when I first started playing with it that it was super soft. I hit deeper shots and add more spin to my serves. I have been playing with the string for over 3 months now, there is some loss of tension, but not much for me to care of notice a significant difference. I am a big hitter and I play with a bit of topspin and slices. With its hexagonal shape, you can definetely make some plays with spin.

Comments: It's a great string. I always hybrid poly strings with Tecnifibre NRG2 17 on cross. I love this string much better than Signum Pro Poly Plasma 17. Signum Pro Poly Plasma is very low powered and hold tension extremely well. However, it is usually dead after 10 hours and the power is so low that it's miserable to serve with it. Big Hitter Blue, however, loses a little more tension than the Signum. It's much more powerful and still has a lot of control.

Comments: Well after reading all the rave reviews I decided to give Tourna Poly Big Hitter Blue 17g a shot. I have been looking for a softer poly, I think hitting with strings that feel like steel is basically ridiculous. We should feel the ball on the strings to some degree. And these strings do just that. A very nice feel, I strung them at 55 pounds on a Wilson Tour 95. I think if I was going to give them another try I would move up to 57 pounds, at 55 they were a little too springy for me. I am a 4.5 hard hitter have been playing for 35 years. I was also looking for all this top spin everyone was talking about. For me, the strings were just average on spin. Now for the bad, they broke after about 3 1/2 hours. Not too good of durability. If they had lasted 8 to 10 hours I would have been very happy but the first set only lasting 3 1/2 hours is just not enough. I'm am going to give the rough version a try next. Maybe they will get better spin and who knows maybe a tad more durability.

Comments: I switched to BHB 17 and extremely pleased with the change. VERY soft feel for a co-poly, adequate spin and after 2 weeks, minimal tension loss. Used to have a hybrid set-up with Volkl Cyclone 17 mains with a mono cross to enhance feel/softness. Now, string entirely with BHB 17. If you are considering a switch from syn gut or mono to co-poly this should try this first. You'll like the durability and minimal string movement without sacrificing the feel of syn gut or mono. Price is right and the cost is really low (under $5) if you invest in the reel.

Comments: I used Prince Duralast for 3 years (great strings for the money btw). Wanted to try poly since I changed racquets and the first two I tried were Hurricane Pro and Luxilon: too stiff and hurt my wrist. I then came across Big Hitter 17 and chatted with TW rep over the phone - purchased it and never looked back.Very soft poly, nice feel/touch, good tension maintenance and amazing price. I am currently using it on 3 Prince Ignite Team 95 racquets (great btw) and the strings never moved, never broke; change those every 4 weeks due to low tension effect. Stephane, Mt. Comments: I have been playing the Babolat Pure Drive for about 10 years, I used nothing but Luxilon ALU for at least 8 of those years because I liked the combination of power / spin / control it gave me. A college coach who is a friend gave me a few packs of this to try out saying there wasn't much difference. I had tried Hurricane Tour, Weiss Cannon, Pacific Polyforce, Kirschbaum Spikey Shark and Pro Supex Blue Gear looking for a cheaper alternative to the ALU Power .You really can't beat Big Hitter for the price holds tension well, little to no string movement good power / spin / control and at least as durable as the others at half the price. I string mine as a hybrid with Pacific Power Line- Mains : 65 # ,Crosses : 67 #

Comments: Great strings. I have these as the cross strings with Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power Rough as the mains, both at 52lbs, on my BLX Six One Tour. I did this hybrid to save some money, test out these Unique Big Hitter strings, and mix the 16L and 17 gauge strings to experiment with feel. Incredible feel, control, and power with this combo! The strings hardly move, too!

Comments: Awesome string. Extremely soft for a poly, but it's still durable and has plenty of feel and ball pocketing. You can hit out with these strings, and not worry about the ball drifting long. Spin is easy to access. Also, these strings don't move, which is a plus. This string works rather well in my n six one 95 @56lbs. I had some shoulder problems with Pro Hurricane Tour 17 and Pro Hurricane 17. I have no such problems with this string. Maintains tension pretty well; much better than Luxilon BB, or the two mentioned Babolats.

Comments: Excellent String. 17g is very spin friendly and has very good feel. Before this I've used everything from Luxilon big banger rough to natural gut. This string doesn't produce as much spin as the Luxilon, but keeps the crisp feel until they break. Whereas Luxilons will go dead after one week. By far value for money this is the best I've found. It lasts about 3-4 weeks and always seems to break in the mains after a mis-hit. I use prince original graphite 90 with 56lbs.

Comments: Spin is great, durability is great, strings don't move at all, and gives a lot of feel for a poly. Since it's so soft, I had better results stringing up 2-3 pounds, then the magic happened. It's my string of choice right now.
