Overview

The Solinco Outlast is a co-polyester string that offers a softer stringbed than traditional polyesters. We found the string to provide great bite on the ball, imparting tons of spin on our shots. Great on its own or as part of a hybrid, this string is perfect for the big all court player.

Comments: I've used this string for three years now as I've moved slowly from 4.0 to 4.5 to almost breaking into the 5.0 NTRP level this year. This is a moderately comfortable string with great bite and spin for an accurate swing. It's not really high-powered which allows me to take big cuts at the ball. I always string my sticks at 54 pounds since the temperature doesn't fluctuate much in Florida. But my favorite quality of this string is that it lasts forever. I have four racquets and I play or practice almost everyday. I typically have to restring my racquets every 2.5 or 3 months, which is a long time for the amount I play. No string with this quality of play comes close to its lasting power. Pure value for money for the serious player that isn't sponsored yet. Good luck.

Comments: Played with Outlast in a full bed in a Six.One 95 L and as a cross with Quadro Twist in the mains in a Pure Strike 16x19 (2017). In a fullbed, Outlast feels pretty decent, marginally better comfort than the standard poly with decent access to spin. The pocketing and the control were the best aspects in my experience. Power was alright, but polys aren't sought out for power anyways. As a cross, I feel that this is where Outlast truly shined. It allowed Quadro Twist to snap back aggressively, allowing for a deeper pocket and higher spin than usual. The control was great and the feel was decently crisp. Overall, I'd recommend it as a slick cross string for a hybrid. Will be trying it out as a cross with Gamma TNT 2 soon.

Comments: Good string! I hybrid it on a Head Prestige 18x20 with a Dunlop multifilament 17G on the cross at 58 lbs, then 54 lbs on the mains (Outlast). I really like it! Great feel and good pop!

Comments: The string is not soft and it is hard compare to Tornado. The string is a control string and medium to low powered. It is a good string to use to tame down some super powerful racquet if you like. I strung it at 51/48 lbs on a Yonex VCORE 95D and it was like a stone. I can not recommend it to 18x20 string patterns or string it in the mid 40s.

Comments: Super happy with this string in my Yonex V-Core 95D. Plenty of bite and control, soft on the arm and seems to be holding tension really well. Perhaps a little more pop than most polys, but not a rocket launcher by any means. Very happy, suggest anyone who like a full bed of poly and hits reasonably hard should give it a try!

Comments: The Tour Bite was starting to make my arm hurt, so I gave this string a try. Outlast was definitely a lot softer, with plenty of control and access to as much spin as I want/need. There was plenty of feel on the ball as well. My favorite of the Solinco lineup of strings.

Comments: In my pursuit for an affordable/playable red polyester, I stumbled upon Outlast 17g from Solinco. I've tried other red polys such as the Pro Lines, Red Code, Monoblast, you name it. I'd never heard of Sonlico at the time so I had to give it a try. Bought and strung up one set of this and knew it was for me! I now own a reel of this stuff and I personally think it matches my Head Prestige racquets. I'm such a sucker for red!

Comments: First try with Solinco, and I like it a lot. I hybrid in crosses with Klip Legend 17 in mains. Attracted by the description of this being a softer poly, which I need due to TE. I have had no arm or durability issues, and just the right combo of control/pop with the gut. I'm a 4.0 using Pure Storm GT.

Comments: This string is amazing. It's not real spiny, which I like. But if you want to hit spin it has a lot of bite.

Comments: I think that this string is awesome! Amazing feel, with lots of spin. Keep it up, Solinco!!
From:Peter, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, USA, 12/10

Comments: This is yet another high quality Solinco string. However, its claim for maximum durability for a 17 gauge is not perfect. Other leading companies such as Tecnifibre and Babolat, etc. beat it slightly in durability, but I would highly recommend it to the player who plays for fun that is like 4.0 or below. You guys will love this string.

Comments: Put them on a Prince EXO3 Red, great feel & surprisingly lots of spin...also put on the Solinco overgrip: Wondergrip, amazing feel!

Comments: Hybrided with Spiky Shark 16g in one racquet, Gosen Sheep Micro 16g in another racquet. Looks great, lots of spin in the Shark, lots of pop in the Gosen. great for hybriding, and a great price too. Keep it up, Solinco.

Comments: Most durable out of the Solinco polys but still offers amazing playability. Great all around string!

Comments: This is another good offering from Solinco, I tried this string out and really liked it. I liked Tour Bite a little better because of a little bit more spin, but I thought Outlast had a little more pop if that's what you're looking for.
