Impressive feel and playability duration for a poly-based monofilament
As one of the softest members of Prince's polyester line, this string is great for the poly veteran who wants a slightly more tendon-friendly control string. It's also a great "starter poly" for players who are new to the breed. Made with a unique alloy to improve feel and tension maintenance Tour XP has excellent ball feedback. Although it has a round profile, this string's ability to accommodate maximum stroke speed makes it extremely spin-friendly. The fact that it has exceptional playability duration is a nice bonus. Comments: I bought the red and found it extremely responsive. I string high around 70 pounds and the end result was not good for my arm. Spin production was great and a lively response made this a great string initially, as I played more the high tension created a high pitched ping which resulted in vibration issues. As I played on it got significantly worse and I figure it's due to the high tension I play with. I then crossed it with a multifilament which helped but not enough for me to commit to it again. I wouldn't recommend this for the tension I play with but at lower tensions it's a great option as the power response was significant for a poly and the durability was better than average for polys. Tension maintenance was a bit better than average in my opinion. I'm a 4.5 heavy topspin player and strung it in a Head Extreme Pro.
