Overview

Made with twisted ribbons to mimic the construction of natural gut, Prince Premier Touch is one of the softest strings available. With its extremely muted feel, this one offers "best of class" vibration dampening. As such it is a great option for any player looking for maximum comfort and shock absorption. Power is medium-high for a multifilament string, making it great for any player who wants easy access to depth. Not only is this a great option for beginners and intermediates looking for a truly plush response, it also makes a great hybrid cross, espeically for those who place a premium on comfort.

Comments: Easy on the arm, great feel. Barely any spin and definitely not the most perfect string out there, however, I had the return of my life on my last match (just on my second go with this string, full bed). Forces you hit almost flat. I would love to experiment further using a hybrid or perhaps a different racquet.

Comments: This string for me didn't live up to the hype. It was sold to me as being almost like a natural gut, while it is soft for me, I could not get it to work in a full bed. I enjoyed other strings much more. The Tecnifibre X-One and the Head Reflex are in my opinion better strings than the Prince Premier Touch.

Comments: Prince Premier Touch is a nice comfortable string for my arm. I like it. I used it in a Hybrid with a poly to soften up the string bed/add some power and it worked well.

Comments: I can only recommend this string as half of a hybrid setup. I tried it in three separate and very distinct frames as a full bed and got the same result. Not enough control. Not enough bite. I won't string it tighter than 60 lbs because I have had tennis elbow. As the crosses in a soft poly setup it works to make the stringbed manageable in terms of arm friendliness. I wanted to like this but after trying it in three very different frames I must conclude that you need to string it over 60 lbs or as a cross string to soften a poly setup.

Comments: This string is very good as a cross. It is slippery and remains slippery, comfortable, and powerful. As a main, it does not provide enough spin.

Comments: Awesome string. I can play for hours with no pain in my elbow or shoulder, good feel, power and exceptional control. I was onto the Volkl line of strings but know they are stiff and was hesitant to try these for I knew they would not play the same or have the "bite" I was looking for -- but wow, I found a new string that is even better -- the Prince Premier like it says, has the touch! I am even serving better and with more power and not sacrificing my elbow to pain from the other poly strings I have been using. I'm a 4.0 player.

Comments: When I switched from a poly to multi, I started my multi with Prince Premier Touch. I tried other multi strings only to come back to this string. It plays like a multi with better durability. The PPT has a lot of power, so prepare to string tighter than normal to reign in some control. The comfort is out of the world soft. PPT is great hybrided with a stiff poly. The only thing is the PPT has high friction, so it affects the snap back of the poly main. When you use the PPT as a main with a poly, you can expect it to be more durable than most multi/poly hybrids.

Comments: I've used this string several times in hybrids and once in a full bed. The full bed was way too powerful, but as a cross string in a hybrid (with poly mains) it does a great job of softening up the stringbed. The feel is very muted, but the comfort is as close to natural gut as you can get really. While the durability is also better than most other multifilaments on the market, it does start to flatten out and lose its roundness after several hours of usage when used as a cross in a hybrid. The good thing is that it doesn't fray -- at least from my experiences it hasn't. I would suggest raising the tension a few pounds though, since it's very powerful.
