Players looking for some additional pop on their shots but still want good control should check out the Babolat Y 109. The racquet is slightly extended to offer better leverage on serve and on groundstrokes but is still easy to maneuver at 10.1 ounces strung. Beginners to intermediate players will find that hitting shots deep into the court comes easily off of medium length swings. This lightweight Babolat offering maintains stability from the Side Drivers technology. Side Drivers extends the yoke (the Y shaped part of the racquet) up the sides of the racquet head, in essence, widening the shoulders of the racquet and increasing the racquet's resistance to twisting. From all areas of the court, our TW testers were able to hit their targets with pace and spin. This Babolat Y 109 is best suited to NTRP 3.0+ players.
