This spin-friendly Blade offers impressive speed, easy targeting, and outstanding feel

Introducing the Blade 100 v10! In addition to being slightly more forgiving and user-friendly than the Blade 98 16x19, this racquet offers impressive command over the ball, which results in greater confidence when targeting the lines or pulling the trigger at the end of a long rally. Like the previous generation, the Blade 100 features a flexible beam construction, giving it arm-friendly comfort and exceptional ball feedback. It's also fast, making it great for scrambling on defense, whipping up extra spin, or reacting quickly at net. For 2026, Wilson adds StableFeel+ technology to enhance stability and minimize frame wobble on off-center hits. Wilson also tightens spec tolerances for weight, balance, and swingweight, making it easier to match multiple frames. As with the previous generation, this racquet includes Wilson's FORTYFIVE layup construction, which arranges the carbon fibers at a 45-degree angle to optimize the bending properties. This racquet also features Direct Connect Technology, which fuses the end cap directly to the handle for a more connected feel. Ultimately, with a fresh new look for 2026, the Blade 100 continues to be an obvious option for intermediate and advanced players who want the speed and spin-friendly targeting of a modern player's racquet minus the harsh feel.

Can't decide on a frame? Just pick this one.I've tried... many racquets to say the least. Let me start out by saying this frame isn't perfect, despite the 5 star rating. I'll get the cons out of the way. It's not the most powerful at a low RA with a 22mm constant beam and lower swingweight. It's not the most controlled with a 16x19 pattern in a 100sq inch frame. It doesn't have the most spin because it's got a tighter pattern than other 100 sq inch 16x19 frames. It doesn't have the best feel because this is still a mid 2020 Wilson frame with their artificial tech. Okay, that's it. Despite all of that, the pros: -The Blade 100 still has GOOD power. Like a solid 8/10, and it's way easier to get power out of this compared to the 98 counterpart in the Blade line. Depth is also easy to come by. -It still has really good control, because that 16x19 is denser. Think more of a Radical style 16x19 pattern. Maybe not quite that dense, but not far off. Very consistent launch and response here. Solid 8.5/10 for control, and if you play recreationally, I would argue an 8/10 power and 8.5/10 for control is literally all you need. -It still has good access to spin, both slice and topspin. If you can get the racquethead moving, the spin isn't as good as an Aero 100 for example, but it's not far. 8.5-9/10 here. Slice is also fantastic, solid 9/10. -Groundstrokes are a solid 9/10. It is so easy to hit heavier spin loopy balls, then mix it up with a powerful flat penetrating ball. Scrambling on defense? The slice here is fantastic, along with the quick maneuverability to bail you out with quick reflex shots. You can hit literally ANY type of shot you want here, and it's not hard to achieve. Other racquets may do each shot better individually (Aero 100 with heavy spin, Gravity Pro with driving flat shots for example), but this one can still do them all with easy access, if that makes sense. -Great serving racquet. Can hit all serve types, with good pop on flat serves, and enough easy spin for slice and kick serves. With that lower static weight and swing weight, it's so easy to get this thing moving. One of the best serving racquets on market, hands down. 9.5/10. -Really good at net. Quick reaction volleys, overheads, mid court, half volleys, it can do it all. 9/10. -Manueverability is fantastic. Lower static weight and lower swingweight make this by default, but add some lead and a leather grip, and it's still very fast. Takes modifications very well. Solid 8.5/10 for maneuverability. Really good at net with quick reflex volleys. Not as fast as thin 98s, but still quick! -Stability is outstanding at this weight and swingweight, and even better when you add weight. I genuinely do not know how Wilson pulled this off, and the Blade 100 has been awesome with stability since I first played with the v8 100 and now all the way to the v10. I've added a bit at 12 just for a bit more plow through and a leather grip to counter, but this is genuinely fantastic. The most stable 300g racquet on market maybe. 9.5/10 for stability. -Forgiveness is awesome here. The sweetspot is much larger than the 98, imo. Maybe not as big as like a Pure Drive or Ezone 100, but more than enough for the average 3.5+ rec player, plus with more feel and control. Off center is not super punishing here, and it's not harsh either thanks to that lower RA I would say. -Conclusion: I've heard the Speed MP being called the ultimate Jack of all trades racquet, and sometimes the Radical MP as well. Push those aside. The Blade 100 is absolutely the ultimate jack of all trades racquet. -If you were confused on what racquet to pick like I was, and you just can't make up your mind, this is your frame. -If you're interested in trying out the Blade line, just get what is just a better Blade IMO, and choose the 100 over the 98. Drops a smidge of control, but gains so much everywhere else, the tradeoff is more than worth it. -If you're interested in jumping up to 100 sq inch from smaller players frames but don't want to give up that player stick feel and playability, choose the Blade 100. -On the contrary, if you're interested in going for more of a players frame but find the Blade 98, Prestige MPL, Ezone 98, and others too demanding or just not easy enough to use, go with the Blade 100. -If you like customizing your frames, 300g and low SW on average gives you a great place to start. The Blade 100 takes mods very well. -You can literally be any player type and I think you'd be alright with this racquet. It's not the best at anything (although I would argue it's top tier with stability), but it's genuinely good to great and everything. Final Thoughts: I know the Blade 98 is a huge seller for Wilson, but I would argue the vast majority of Blade 98 users would probably better suited with the 100. This is the racquetholism cure frame, if there ever was one. If you're not satisfied here, you may never be satisfied with your frame. It's not the most exciting option, but given that so many people somehow don't even know this racquet exists, being a hidden gem actually makes it an exciting option! If you want to have a match day frame that will have your back, give you a baseline of what you need, also give you access to higher levels of each category if you work for it, I genuinely don't think there's a better option than the Blade 100. Take it from someone who has tried a ton of frames. I've played with few better than this one, and it's by far the easiest one I've ever used of all the competing players frames. It has had my back on my C game days, and it doesn't hold me back on my A game days. The ultimate jack of all trades frame. Don't pass up on this hidden gem.

Good stuffI’ve spent some time with the Blade 100 v10, and honestly, it’s one of those racquets that just feels right from the start. The first thing I noticed is the control. It’s really easy to trust your shots with this racquet. you can swing freely without worrying about the ball flying long. Compared to other 100s like the Ezone 100 or Speed MP, this one feels more precise and predictable. You still get that classic Blade feel too. It’s connected to the ball in a way that’s hard to describe unless you’ve played with a Blade before. Not too stiff, not too muted, just a really clean, solid response that gives you confidence on every shot. Compared to the v9, I do feel like the v10 has a bit more power. Nothing crazy, but enough to help you get depth a little easier, especially when you’re on the defensive. The nice part is that it doesn’t lose control because of it. Spin is solid, but this isn’t a spin-focused racquet. You can definitely shape the ball and add topspin when you want, but it’s more about control and placement than heavy RPMs. It’s also very easy to maneuver. At net, it feels quick and responsive, and from the baseline it doesn’t feel sluggish at all. Stability is good too, though if you’re used to heavier frames, you might notice a bit less plow-through, but that’s the tradeoff for how easy it is to swing. Overall, this is probably one of the most balanced racquets I’ve used. It does a bit of everything well, control, feel, usability, and it really suits an all-court style of play. If you’re looking for a racquet that feels predictable, comfortable, and easy to play with, the Blade 100 v10 is a really solid choice.

Perfect Blend of Control, Feel, Playability4.0 all court. I recently picked up the Blade 100 v10 and have been really impressed with it. I’ve also played with the Babolat Pure Strike 100, Yonex Ezone 100, and Head Speed MP, and the Blade 100 stands out as the best among them for my game. It offers excellent control while still being easy to use, making it a great option for all-court players. Compared to the v9, it has a bit more power without sacrificing precision. You still get that classic Blade feel, very connected to the ball, with predictable and consistent response, which really helps with confidence on every shot.

Great combination of control and powerUSTA 4.5, lefty, aggressive baseline hitter. I love the blade v10 100. I’ve been playing with this racquet for a week now and I really enjoy it. If you’re looking for a control racquet with good power and a little more forgiveness compared to the 98, this is a perfect choice. I actually like this better than the ezone 100 and the speed mp. Highly recommend!
