Updated with Organix technology, the Volkl Organix 8 (315g) provides the same great stability, power and arm friendly feel of its predecessor. The open string pattern allowed easy access to spin from all areas of the court, whether we were hitting topspin forehands, slice backhands or kick serves. We found the new Organix material to offer more power and a more comfortable response. From the baseline, our testers found lots of control but plenty of power and plough through as well thanks to the 11.6 ounce weight. The maneuverability of this racquet was key up at net. It proved to be quite versatile, as our testers were able to hit with both power and touch with success. We found lots of power while serving. The mobility allowed us to quickly snap the racquet through the contact point and place the ball where we wanted. A fantastic racquet for the big hitting intermediate player wanting lots of feel, spin and power in an arm friendly package.
