Overview
Signum Pro Firestorm is a high-tech co-poly with a crisp and comfortably firm response. It also has above average power for a poly-based string. Strung at the low end of the tension range, this one has impressive levels of comfort, touch and pop. Strung tighter, it still retains its excellent feel but also offers impressive control. The spin-potential is excellent. While it is best suited to advanced players with sound mechanics and big strokes, this co-poly is user-friendly and powerful enough to work for strong intermediates looking to make the leap into a control string.

Comments: Same string will give you totally different response in different racquets. We all know that and we all should remember that. What doesn't work for one of us, works for the others. At first I had it strung at 50 pounds on Dunlop Biomimetic 18x20, 95 square inch head. Didn't like it. Good comfort and decent pop, but not much spin, and balls just kept flying over the baseline. Then I had it strung on old Dunlop Aerogel 4D 200 at 50 pounds, 16x19, 95 square inch head, and the response was like a day and night! Beautiful pocketing, comfortable, fantastic backhand slice, spin almost as good as Babolat RPM Blast Rough, and surprisingly, the 95 inch head size felt like 102 inch because the string racquet combo is a match! Signum Pro Firestorm is a fantastic string for players who seek control and touch. Really good spin, enough power, and comfort is sublime for a co-poly.

Comments: Love this. I hybrid with natural gut in mains and Firestorm in the crosses, and get lots of pop and snapback. Super comfortable for a polyester too. I've tried many crosses and this is the best.

Comments: This string is very similar to ALU Power without the silicon wax. However, this string plays even better when you use it longer as the string bed softens (breaks in) giving you more pop, snapping spin and pocketing power, whereas Lux is the opposite for me -- when the silicon wax (after 1 or 2 hours) is gone. Tension maintenance will drop 1 or 2 lbs within the first session, but it will just stabilize and get better. Very high playability duration and I would recommend stringing it below 52 lbs to have a soft and nice feel. Starting out, it will be as stiff as ALU Power before break-in, so avoid stringing it too high. Lively, powerful, precise control, long playability duration with decent bite and spin at a great price!

Comments: I have this strung at 57 lbs in my Babolat Pure Drive Plus (2012) and it is fantastic. Touch and feel is really great for a poly and there is immense power with these. I don't experience any arm trouble, so overall I think it's a great string.

Comments: These strings enable you to hit fast, accurate serves and the spin on the kick serve is effective too. No other outstanding features for me apart from the comfort. Strung in the Prince Classic Graphite 100 at 57 lbs.

Comments: I was trying to find a main string that will offer the "arm friendly" control and power of natural gut and durability when hybrid with co-poly structured cross string. This Firestorm met all my needs and offers a bit more power. Full co-poly bed with the feel of gut and great power with control and access to spin! Success!
