Recreational players needing to add some pop to their game will love the Pacific Speed racquet. We found the 107 square inch head size to offer a large and powerful sweetspot. Even shots hit around the perimeter of the racquet come off with plenty of pop. Pacific claims that Speed Zone, a technology found in Fischer racquets, delivers maximum ball acceleration combined with a high level of control. Basalt X fibers are integrated into the layup of the racquet, which helps reduce shock and vibration throughout the frame. For an even greater amount of comfort, Pacific's Air Damping system in the shaft helps minimize undesired vibrations. About evenly balanced, the Speed offers a nice blend of both power and control from all areas of the court. On slice shots, the open 16 x 20 string pattern allows the strings to really bite into the ball, generating great spin. The added length helps create more leverage and power on serves. Overall, we feel this is a great stick for the 3.0+ player.

Racquet comes with free set of Pacific Power Line 16L string. If you would like this to be strung in your racquet, please choose this string in the String Choices Menu on the next page. If you choose another string, the Pacific Power Line will be sent to you in its packaging.
