With some useful heft, a midplus headsize and an open, 16/19 string pattern, this racquet provides the liveliest response in the MicroGEL Prestige family. Our TW playtesters found an impressive level of comfort thanks to the stable response and the soft feel from the stringbed. Comfort is also no doubt enhanced by HEAD's MicroGEL technology as this racquet provides a slightly dampened and muted feel at impact - similar to the other MicroGEL Prestiges. The solid and stable response from this racquet shines when the pace and weight of hitting picks up. Advanced, aggressive players will find this one a useful stick to bring to the fray thanks to its comfortable response during big hitting. Players who like the feel and response of an open string pattern will likely find this one their favorite Prestige to date. Stronger players will find some nice pace, easy access to spin and good weight of shot on faster swings. The head light balance (7 points) provides a mobile feel from all areas of court, and helps keep the swingweight manageable (316 RDC). On serves, we enjoyed the combination of pace, spin and consistency we were finding with this racquet. As with the regular Prestige Midplus, this one will find favor with a variety of player styles. Best suited to 4.0+ level players.
