Light, maneuverable and very spin friendly, the K Surge brings lots of performance from all areas of the court. Our TW playtesters were impressed by the solid feel of this racquet considering its light weight and maneuverable feel. Our testers also liked the ease of accelerating this racquet through the contact zone, allowing for a lot of spin and pace off a short swing. The K Surge offers a comfortable response, but there's still ample feedback for touch and control play. At net the racquet feels very fast and easy to maneuver. Volleys feel crisp and clean off the stringbed with both depth and directional control easy to gauge. There's ample room for weight and balance customization here, making this a great stick for players progressing towards an advanced level as they can increase weight as player technique and strength improve. All in all, this racquet provides some of the best performance in its weight class and will pleasantly surprise a lot of players who tend to prefer heftier sticks. Players at the 4.0+ level should definitely spend some court time with this one.
