Building on the success of the Aerogel 200, Dunlop has added 4D technology to the mix. The 4 directional braiding adds strength and stability at key points of the racquet while maintaining touch and feel. This only adds to the already solid feel of the Aerogel 200. On court we found the weight of the Aerogel 4D 200 to provide a solid feel with good control stemming from the tight string pattern. From the baseline, the racquet was very stable, providing good plough through, helping off center hits stay on line. At net, there is more of the same. Good stability while offering nice touch for the more delicate volleys. It provides a good balance of punch and depth control. While offering good control on serve with the 18/20 string pattern, we also noticed the ability to produce some spin. A great option for the advanced all-court player as the Aerogel 4D 200 is effective from all areas of the court. Recommended for the 4.5+ NTRP player.
