The RQ iS 2 Tour offers a tapered beam that widens at 4 and 6 o'clock offering nice stability and pop while a slimmer throat and shaft provides more flex and feel for comfort. At 10.8 ounces, our staff found an ease of swing with good power from the baseline. Smooth fluid strokes produced good court penetration and pace. The open 16x18 string pattern offers plenty of bite on the ball for good access to spin. This 27.5" length racquet with a generous sweetspot offers nice pop at net while being very maneuverable. Though this racquet is plenty powerful, it doesn't sacrifice much in the control department. There's just enough heft and forgiveness to keep even off-center hits on line. Stronger players will find room for adding weight for customization if desired. Players at the 3.5 to 4.5 level looking for a maneuverable racquet with a solid feel should definitely take this one for a demo.
