This light and maneuverable racquet maintains good stability thanks to its almost even balance. The racquet frame thickens at the hoop to 25mm for added stability, while the shaft is a svelte 19mm providing a whippy and flexible feel. The variable frame thickness combines to offer a silky smooth feel with some nice pop and stability from the racquet head. While lighter than its sister RQ iS 1 Tour XL 95, we found better stability from the racquet head from this version. From all areas of the court the racquet allows easy access to spin. There is enough control to promote fast swingspeeds without fear of over-hitting, yet we also found good ball speed off the stringbed from an effortless swing. At net the racquet offers that rare blend of a fast feel and a solid response. A solid choice for 4.0+ level players.
