Wilson's new BLX Steam 100 will help players add some extra heat to their shots. With a slightly longer length of 27.25 inches, 100 square inch headsize and 11 ounce strung weight, the Steam 100 is a good fit for aggressive players who play a modern game of power and spin. Our TW testers found spin easy to create on groundstrokes. They also noted good put-away power when hitting approach shots. At net, the racquet remains fast-feeling and provides a clean feel for good control. The Steam 100 offers plenty of power but remains comfortable for the arm. All in all, the Steam 100 should be on the demo list for intermediate to advanced level players looking to add power and spin to their games.
