Extremely light weight and mobile, the BLX Pro Lite 2012 offers ease of shots from all areas of the court. When hitting from the baseline, our play testers noted a fast feel with a crisp response while the close to even balance helped provide some mass behind the ball. The open string pattern in combination with a faster swing speed allows nice access to spin. The large 102 square inch head size provides a sizable sweet spot for better consistency both with groundstrokes and when volleying. At net, the mobility shines as it quickly gets to balls, particularly in doubles play where there are fast exchanges. Serving offers the nice combination of spin and power where the server can flatten one out for pace, or put more spin on it for enhanced control and bounce. The novice to intermediate player looking for super mobility with added spin and and crisp response should certainly take this one out for a demo.
