The Volkl Powerbridge 9 is a versatile racquet with mass appeal for intermediate players on up. The V shaped throat piece of the DNX 9 has been replaced by Volkl's Powerbridge technology. Volkl has now added DNX to the throat, increasing stability and power. Our TW playtesters found the Powerbridge 9 to have great access to spin due to its maneuverability and open string pattern. They were able to hit deep penetrating shots from all areas of the court. Up at net, our playtesters were very impressed with how the racquet performed. From touch shots to put away overheads, the mobility and stable feel proved to be quite an asset. Players looking for a stick they can customize to their own liking or as their game improves will love the specs on this racquet. We recommend this as a must demo for the 4.0+ player.
