The Youtek IG Instinct S blends power with control and comfort with feel. From all areas of the court the racquet offers easy access to power thanks to the generous sweetspot from its 102 square inch headsize. From the baseline the feel at contact is surprisingly solid -- much more so than its sub-10 ounce weight would suggest. Our TW testers found great access to spin thanks to the light and maneuverable feel. The open 16x19 string pattern also provides lots of bite, making this one especially useful on spin and angle shots. At net the racquet provides ample power to help the player punch volleys away. Again, comfort is impressive but not at the sacrifice of feel. Our testers enjoyed good consistency on targeting and enough control for touch volleys. On serves and returns, the light and fast feel of the racquet lends itself to aggressive swings. The result is lots of pace and great access to spin. All in all this impressive offering is well worth a demo for intermediate players seeking a blend of power and comfort from a light and mobile racquet.
