With a surprising amount of control to be found from all areas of the court, the maneuverable Crossbow 4 favors those with a fuller swing style. From the baseline the racquet offers excellent access to spin. An open string pattern and an easy to maneuver weight means players can take an aggressive cut at the ball and get lots of bite for added spin. Comfort is excellent thanks to a large sweetspot and surprising stability for such a light racquet. At net the Crossbow 4 feels crisp. We found it easy to find our targets thanks to the clean response and controllable power level. When serving, the racquet provides easy access to spin and the blend of control and power lends itself to consistency. Overall, we found more control from this version of the 4 when compared to the previous Liquidmetal and Flexpoint versions. All in all, the Crossbow 4 makes a great choice for intermediate level players.
