DisapointingI've purchased this string based on the technical specs published by TWU. I had to cut the string after less than 1/2 hour usage. I could not control the snap back (string to sting listed as 0.074 for a 17 ga,) Even at 50 lbs. on a tight string bad (Blade BLX 104) the string movement could not manage.

Gosen AK Control 17I compared this string to Gosen AK Pro CX 17 in my two Warrior 100 Pros. Control felt more firm than the CX, which was nice. I could really feel the ball. Spin was good, control was good. The problem was movement. It gets stuck a lot. Within an hour, my strings were all over the place. Other than that, I really liked it.

Comments: I strung this as a full bed in my VCORE Pro 97 HD at 52 pounds. This string replaced Head Velocity MLT 17 black at roughly the same tension. Compared to Velocity, I noticed more spin when it was fresh, but it had too much power for me. In addition, spin goes down somewhat when the strings start sticking, which doesn't take very long. Overall, I thought it was just okay. Next, I am going to give Triax a try, and if I don't like that, I will probably just stick with Velocity for a while.

Comments: Great string for comfort, power, spin, and control. I had it strung in my Wilson Ultra Tour at 52 lbs. I am a 5.0 player and it only lasted twenty minutes. I tried it three times and it snapped dead center every time, even one time warming up.

Comments: I am excited to try this string out in my Babolat Pure Strike 98 (Project One7) and have ordered several sets. I am wondering what tension would be recommended.I usually play with Cyclone Tour at 52.

Comments: On paper, this string must be it. According to TW string database it is best of both worlds. It has a spin potential higher than Cyclone Tour (all the strings mentioned here are 17 gauges) and a stiffness rating lesser than Prince Premier Control, a multifilament. Well, on paper that is. I have this string on my Yonex Ezone DR 98, 52 lbs mains, 51 lbs crosses. The spin and control part is there. It bites the ball well and the rest lays in playing style. Furthermore it does not have the stiffness of polys but it is still somehow stiff (Compared to Premier Control, which is not the softest multi out there) At some point I asked myself " Am I playing with a soft poly?" Finally it is not powerful, which is good if you are after full strokes. All my groundstrokes benefitted from that string. My serve lost some pace but my placement improved. I love the control on my volleys. In short, it is a very good string. I suggest you try it as an alternative for soft polys.

Comments: Strung this up at 62 lbs in my Prince 03 Red. Frankly, it feels like a semi-firm nylon and moves a lot right out of the gate. And the power this string generates is almost uncontrollable taking a full swing even at 62 pounds. Not impressed.

Comments: I bought a set of these but wasn't sure about them. I gave them to a friend for him to try on his new Pro Staff 85. His described this string as "awesome". I will buy some more.

Comments: Very bitey, yet still soft. I used it on a Head Prestige MP as the mains with Luxilon ALU Rough. It's a dream to hit with.

Comments: I hybrided these with polylon ice in the crosses. These strings played more like a mix between a synthetic gut and a multifilament. It didn't have the power or softness of a multifilament but it made up for in durability. I felt that one needs a fairly fast swing speed in order to fully bring out the potential. When do so, the strings responded very well creating great depth and good amounts of spin.
