The Boris Becker Melbourne meets the needs of the advanced player looking for a high level of control. The combination of a low swingweight and 12 ounce static weight had our team generating outstanding racquet head speed and pace on our shots from the baseline. Targeting was just as impressive, whether they were going down the line or pulling shots cross-court. Our team took note of the spin potential with this racquet. Even with the tighter 18x20 string pattern, slice shots had plenty of bite. The Delta Core technology found in the makeup of the racquet gave it a very solid and stable feel. Up at net, the racquet was solid and precise. The mass made it very easy to put away volleys and overheads. Our TW playtesters were generating substantial pace on their serves. The mobility made it just as easy to hit a serve down the 'T' or out wide. No matter the stroke, the racquet felt solid, stable and comfortable. We highly recommend this for 4.5+ players.
