This super midsize racquet offers a generous sweetspot, with excellent maneuverability for an easy to generate swing. From the baseline, our testers found excellent comfort with a solid feel. The large sweetspot keeps shots consistent and predictable while the 16/19 string pattern helps produce good spin for both topspin and slice shots. At net, maneuverability comes into play, making solid volleys easier to produce. Maintaining stability in this racquet, Babolat offers Side Drivers technology by extending the yoke up the sides of the racquet head. This, in essence, reduces twisting. Beginning to intermediate players will find the Y 105 to be effective from all areas of the court, providing forgiveness and a solid feel.
